COBRAcable (COpenhagen-BRussels-Amsterdam cable) is a planned 320 kV, 700 MW HVDC submarine power cable between Eemshaven, the Netherlands, and Endrup near Esbjerg, Denmark. The cable will have a length of 325–350 km, and will be jointly owned by Energinet.dk and TenneT.[1] Construction contracts were signed with Siemens and Prysmian in 2016.[2] Start of operations is planned from early 2019.[1]
