CJBT-FM is a new radio station that is set to launch soon at 105.1 FM in Beeton, Ontario. The station will broadcast a country music format.
Owned by Frank Rogers, on behalf of a corporation to be incorporated the station was licensed on August 1, 2008.[1]
A launch date has yet to be announced for the new station;[2] however, Frank Rogers had until August 1, 2012 to launch the station, or face the cancellation of the license.[3] As of January 1, 2013, the station has yet to sign on, and the CRTC has yet to officially take action against the license.
Frank Roger's sister station, CFAO-FM Alliston was shut down in 2010; its license for that station was cancelled in 2014, when its renewal was denied.[4]
