CHNL, branded as Radio NL, is a radio station in Kamloops, British Columbia. The station, owned by NL Broadcasting, airs a classic hits format with some talk and sports at 610 on the AM dial.
The station launched in 1970.
On April 25, 2009, CHNL received CRTC approval to add a transmitter at Merritt on the frequency 1230kHz.[1] The transmitter took over the AM frequency of Merritt's local radio station CJNL, which converted to FM 101.1 and now broadcasts with the call sign CKMQ-FM.
