CFCD-FM

CFCD-FM was a Canadian radio station that broadcast tourist information programming at 98.5 FM in Dryden, Ontario, Canada.

Owned by the Dryden Chamber of Commerce, the station was given approval by the CRTC on November 28, 2002.[1] The new station would operate at 98.5 MHz (channel 253 LP) with an effective radiated power (ERP) of 27 watts. The station would broadcast pre-recorded announcements promoting the tourist sites and community events in Dryden, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, on a year-round basis.

In 2013, the Dryden District Chamber of Commerce filed a request with the CRTC for the revocation of the broadcasting licence for CFCD-FM, for reasons unknown.[2] The application was granted on July 29, 2013.
