Cullar vega is a town from Spain, situated in the central part of the Vega of Granada, in the province of Granada, Andalusia. It borders with the Municipalities of Vegas del Genil, Churriana de la vega and Las Gabias.

Demography

According to the National Institute of Statistics of Spain, in the year 2014 Cúllar Vega had 7139 registered inhabitants. [1]

Political

The municipality was governed since 2003 by the socialist juan de Dios Moreno. After more than a decade in the charge, in May 2014 presented the resignation like mayor, being substituted by his mate of party, Jorge Sánchez Cabrera.[2][3]
