Buguggiate is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Varese in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) northwest of Milan and about 6 kilometres (4 mi) southwest of Varese. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,261 and an area of 2.6 square kilometres (1.0 sq mi).[1]
