The Berber toad, Mauritanian toad, crapaud de Maurétanie, crapaud pantherin, or sapo moruno (Bufo mauritanicus) is a species of toad in the family Bufonidae.

It is found in northern Africa: Algeria, Morocco (and the two Spanish cities in northern Africa Ceuta y Melilla), Tunisia, and possibly Western Sahara.

Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, rivers, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marshes, arable land, pastureland, and plantations. It is threatened by habitat loss.
