Bubonoxena ephippias is a tortrix moth (family Tortricidae), belonging to tribe Eucosmini of subfamily Olethreutinae. It is found Ceylon, India, Congo, South Africa and Rodrigues.[1]
A known foodplant of this species is Commelina benghalensis (Commelinaceae).[2]
