The brown barbet (Caloramphus fuliginosus) is a species of bird in the Megalaimidae family. It is found in Brunei, Kalimantan (Indonesia), Sabah (Malaysia). Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.[1][2]
This species is split up in (1) this endemic specis of Borneo and (2) the sooty barbet of Malaysia. Myanmar, Thailand, and Sumatra (Indonesia).[3]
