The brown-capped tyrannulet (Ornithion brunneicapillus) is a species of bird in the Tyrannidae family. It is found in Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Panama, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and heavily degraded former forest.
