The bronzy jacamar (Galbula leucogastra) is a species of bird in the Galbulidae family. It is found in north-central South America in the Amazon Basin and the Guianas.
It occurs in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical and tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical and tropical dry shrubland.
