British Neuroscience Association
The British Neuroscience Association is a scientific society with around 1,800 members. It was relaunched in 1997 from the former Brain Research Association. Besides publishing a scientific journal, it offers a variety of benefits to members, including discounts on books and reduced registration fees for meetings. In addition the society produces the BNA Bulletin magazine for members and hosts a range of events, including a large biennial meeting. In 2013 was a 4 day event entitled the 'Festival of Neuroscience'[1] and was held at the Barbican Centre in London.[2] The current president is Professor Russell Foster of the University of Oxford.
