The British-German Association (BGA) is a nonprofit, membership organisation based in London, UK. Its mission is to promote understanding and forge links between Britain and Germany.[2][3][4][5]

Background

Founded in 1951, the BGA is currently chaired by Stephen Watson.[6][7] HRH The Duke of Kent serves as its Royal Patron.[8][9]

The association hosts an annual calendar of corporate, political and cultural events for its members.[10][11][12] Past speakers include Sir Roger Carr (Chairman, BAE Systems), Peter Ammon (German Ambassador to the UK), and Paddy Ashdown (British politician).[13]
