The bright-rumped yellow finch (Sicalis uropygialis) is a species of bird in the family Thraupidae. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, and Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland and heavily degraded former forest.
