Brentford School for Girls is a secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in the Brentford area of the London Borough of Hounslow, England. Year groups 7-11 are singularly for girls, but sixth form is mixed. The school has over 800 students.
History
The school was established in 1834, and was co-educational until 1968, when the boys were moved to Isleworth and Syon School.[1] The school converted to academy status on 1 December 2012.
Ofsted report
A 2008 Ofsted report for the school gave an overall grade of "Satisfactory" on the Ofsted grading scale[2] A 2011 report graded the school 'Good with Outstanding features'.
