BravaHDTV is a Dutch cultural HDTV channel aimed at the European market which launched on 3 July 2007. The programming consists of opera, ballet, and classical music concerts. Productions are recorded in opera houses such as the Royal Opera House, the Teatro Real, and La Scala. The productions consists of stage performances such as La bohème, Othello, Aida, Swan Lake, Tosca, Zoroastre and Così fan tutte. The channel was founded by Jur Bron and Gerard Ardesch and co-owned by their company TV Digitaal BV and Strengholt BV until 31 July 2015.[1][2] Since 31 July 2015 the channel is owned and operated by the Canadian company Stingray Digital.[3]
