The Kargeskopf and the Franzosenkopf are southern foothills of the Braakberg. In a wider sense the ridge running away to the southwest is also known as the Braakberg, especially its southern foothills west of Lonau which have a 512.1 m high sub-peak of the same name.:[1] (Coordinates: 51°41′43″N 10°21′06″E / 51.6952°N 10.3518°E / 51.6952; 10.3518 (Braakberg)[2])
