Botti Biabi (born 8 March 1996) is a Scottish professional football player currently playing as a striker for Swansea City in the Premier League. He previously played for Falkirk in the Scottish Championship.
Career
Biabi was born in London,[1] however moved to Scotland early in life and grew up in Glasgow,[2] where he attended Knightswood Secondary School. He signed for Falkirk as a 16-year-old from Junior side Clydebank.[3] He made his first team debut for in a promotion playoff game against Queen of the South on 6 May 2014. In all he made 32 appearances for Falkirk, in all competitions.
Biabi moved to Premier League club Swansea City on 17 August 2015 for a "six-figure fee",[4] where he will join up with their Under-21 squad.[2]
International career
Because of parentage and birthplace, Biabi had a three-way choice to make between Ivory Coast, England and Scotland but elected to represent Scotland, the country of his upbringing.[5] He was called up to the Scotland under-19 side for matches in September 2014.[6]
