Bonnie Morehouse

Bonnie Morehouse was acting United States Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Manpower and Reserve Affairs) for the first half of 2001.

Biography

Bonnie Morehouse began her career in the civilian ranks of the United States Department of the Air Force, and later moved to the United States Department of the Navy, becoming Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Manpower. From January 2001 through July 2001, she was acting Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Manpower and Reserve Affairs). She then went on to become the civilian deputy director for programming in the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, later becoming director. In 2003, she joined the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration as its first director of the Office of Program Analysis and Evaluation. She left federal service in 2007, forming a consulting firm.
