Bongouanou Department is a department of Moronou Region in Lacs District, Ivory Coast. In 2014, its population was 165,307 and its seat is the settlement of Bongouanou. The sub-prefectures of the department are Andé, Assié-Koumassi, Bongouanou, and N'Guessankro.

In 2011, Bongouanou was placed in N'Zi Region, but in 2012 it was joined with two other departments to form Moronou Region. (The territory of the two other departments had been part of Bongouanou Department prior to the 2011 reorganisation of the subdivisions of Ivory Coast.)
