Bob Picozzi

Bob Picozzi (born June 4, 1951) is a television and radio announcer who is employed by ESPN as their play-by-play announcer for college football and basketball.[1]

Biography

As of 2013, Picozzi has called college football and basketball for the ESPN Networks starting in 1998.[2] As of 2012, he is also an anchor for ESPN Radio SportsCenter.[3] For thirteen years, starting in 1999, Bob called women's basketball for the Connecticut Huskies and he called Colonial Athletic Association football for Comcast SportsNet.[4] He began working at WTNH-TV in 1978 for 19 years as their sports director and is a graduate of Seton Hall University. He is a four time Connecticut Sportscaster of the Year and received one New England Regional Emmy Award Picozzi was born in Summit, New Jersey and graduated from Seton Hall.
