Blegny-Mine
The Belgny mining museum is a museum in Blegny, near Liège, Belgium. The museum is an Anchor point on the European Route of Industrial Heritage. [1]
Context
Four of the Walloon coal mines - Bois-du-Luc, Bois du Cazier, Blegny Mine and Grand-Hornu - are inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. Blegny mine demonstrates the phase of industrialisation (1860 - 1960), in which electricity - and internal combustion engines were introduced. [1]
