Quaestoriana

The Diocese of Quaestoriana (also spelled Quæstoriana) was an Ancient city and bishopric in Roman Africa and remains a Latin Catholic Titular See.[1]

Its present location is in modern Tunisia, (Sahel), North Africa.

History

Quaestoriana was important enough in the Late Roman province of Byzacena to become one of the many suffragans of its capital Hadrumetum (Sousse)'s Metropolitan Archbishopric, but like most was to fade.

Titular see

The diocese was nominally restored as titular bishopric in 1933. It has had the following incumbents, of the fitting episcopal (lowest) rank, except the archiepiscopal first :
