Birger Jensen (born 1 March 1951) is a Danish retired footballer, who played in the goalkeeper position.
He most notably played professionally for Belgian club Club Brugge, with whom he reached the 1976 UEFA Cup Final and the 1978 European Cup Final lost both to English side Liverpool. He played a total of 390 games for the Belgian side in all competitions scoring also two goals. Jensen played 19 matches for the Denmark national football team from 1973 to 1979.
He started his career with Danish club B 1903, before moving abroad to play professionally with Club Brugge in 1974. With Club Brugge, he won five Belgian Jupiler League championships and two Belgian Cups, and reached the 1978 European Cup Final which was lost to English club Liverpool F.C.. He left Club Brugge in 1988, and went on to play for Belgian club Lierse SK and Dutch club RKC Waalwijk, before ending his career back in Belgium with amateur side FC Varsenare.
