Binpur II (community development block) is an administrative division in Jhargram subdivision of Paschim Medinipur district in the Indian state of West Bengal. Belpahari and Lalgarh police station serve this block. Headquarters of this block is at Belpahari[1][2]
Geography
Belpahari is located at 22°31′56″N 86°38′45″E / 22.5322195°N 86.6457367°E.
Binpur II community development block has an area of 576.00 km2.[2]

Gram panchayats of Binpur II block/ panchayat samiti are: , Belpahari, Bhelaidiha, Bhulaveda, Eargoda, Harda, Kanko, Sandapara, Silda and Simulpal.[3]
Demographics
As per 2001 census, Binpur II block had a total population of 145,913, out of which 73,633 were males and 72,280 were females. Binpur II block registered a population growth of 12.20 per cent during the 1991-2001 decade. Decadal growth for the combined Midnapore district was 14.87 per cent.[2] Decadal growth in West Bengal was 17.45 per cent.[4]
