The Binghamton Pioneers are a semi-professional basketball team in the Independent Basketball Association based in Binghamton, New York, USA. The Pioneers are a IBA "branding division" team, or partial member of the league, for the 2014[1] Fall season. The new franchise is testing the market to see if operating full-time is a viable option.
The Pioneers, who are the first-ever minor league basketball team in the Binghamton area, play their home games at Binghamton High School Gymnasium.
The team management consists of Gerard Wilson (President) and Robert Moore (General Manager).
