William 'Billy' Thomas Root (born 5 August 1992) is an English cricketer who plays for Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club. Primarily a left-handed batsman, he also bowls right arm off break. He is the younger brother of Yorkshire and England batsman Joe Root.
