Bill Randall
Bill Randall is known as a Republican perennial candidate for various offices in North Carolina. He won the Republican primary in North Carolina's 13th congressional district in 2010, but lost the November election to the incumbent Democrat Brad Miller. He ran in the Republican primary for the same district in 2012, but lost substantially to George Holding, who went on to win the general election. Randall ran for Wake Forest Mayor in 2013, earning only 28% of the vote to incumbent Mayor Vivian Jones' 71%. Politically, he identifies as a Tea-partier and a social conservative;[1] he is opposed to same-sex marriage[2] and is pro-life.[3] Randall grew up in the Ninth Ward of New Orleans, Louisiana and has been Command Master in the U.S. Navy, the highest enlisted rank in the Navy.[4] After he returned from the Navy, he went to the National Louis University where he got his master's degree (MBA) in Business Administration.[5]
