Bhavans Vidya Mandir, Eroor, one of the six schools of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kochi Kendra is a senior secondary school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education. The school is located in the outskirts of Thripunithura town.
History
The school was inaugurated on July 1989. Upon inception, the school had only classes up to lowerclasses, but now has classes from Kindergarten to Grade XII with a student strength of 2377.
Present
The school is part of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan which has six other schools in Kochi, which include: Bhavan's Vidya Mandir (Girinagar), Bhavan's Adarsha Vidyalaya, Bhavan's Varuna Vidyalaya, Bhavan's Munshi Vidyashram and Bhavan's Newsprint Vidyalaya.
The school is led by a team of 108 teachers and 23 non-teaching staff.
House activity
The students are divided into eight houses. These houses are named after moral values from ancient Indian scriptures.

- Sevanam (Service)
- Shanthi (Peace)
- Thyagam (Sacrifice)
- Vinayam (Humility).
Each house is assigned a captain from class XI, a vice-captain from class X and 2 teachers-in-charge. Each House compete to win the best House Award every year. Inter-house competitions are also held throughout the year starting with The Ramayana Week celebrations. Inter-House Notice Board Competitions are held every month. An Inter-House Sports Tournament is also held, with events ranging from Football to Athletics.In the football tournament held in 2015 Ahimsa emerged as the winners and Thyagam emerged as the runners-up.
Office bearers
There is a school student committee headed by a Head boy, a Head Girl and a Sports Captain from class XII. The committee also has a Jr. Head boy, Jr. Head girl and a Jr. Sports Captain selected from Class X. The House Captains and House Vice Captains are also members of the committee.
School magazine
The School publishes an annual magazine entitled 'Vibha''''. This Magazine is given to every student and contains the achievements of the school in the year, and also acts as a medium for young writers and poets to publish their stories and poems in Malayalam, Sanskrit, English and Hindi.
Recent Achievements
Manish Menon was chosen to participate in the JENESYS programme, an initiative of the Human Resource Development Department and the Japanese government. He was one among 150 students chosen from all over India.
Sidharth S Nair secured first at state level in the International Informatics Olympiad 2012.
Gouri Prasanth (Std VII) emerged first at the National level in Sasthra Prathibha Matsaram (Sub-Junior category).
Sri. E Rajesh Menon was adjudged the Best Teacher-Coordinator of Ernakulam district for SEED (Student Empowerment for Environment Development) programme. He is also the recipient of the All Kerala Best Teacher Award by the Science Olympiad Foundation.
Rahul Pillai received the 'New-Find Actor' award from Surya TV for his performance in the film 'Sneha Veedu'.
School won the overall championship in the Bhavan’s Cultural Fest -2012 held at Poochatty, scoring 559 points.
Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Eroor was chosen from among nearly 90 Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan schools spread all over India, to be the recipient of the Shikshan Bharati Kulapathi Munshi Award for the best School 2012 in recognition of the achievements in Academics, Co curricular Activities, Sports and Games.
Bvm EROOR emerged as the first runners up in the 21st Magnum Opus in 2015.
