Bertiella mucronata is a species of Bertiella, a type of cestode known to cause Bertielliasis. It belongs to the genus Bertiella, family Anoplocephalidae. This is one of two species of Bertiella that can cause Bertielliasis in humans (the other being Bertiella studeri).
