Berdiansk Raion (Ukrainian: Бердянський район) is one of the 20 raions (districts) of Zaporizhia Oblast in southern Ukraine. The administrative center of the region is Berdiansk which does not belong to the raion and is incorporated separately as a city of oblast significance. The raion has access to the northern coast the Sea of Azov. Population: 26,240 (2013 est.)[1].
