Benzonia is a monospecific genus of flowering plants in the Rubiaceae family. It was described by Heinrich Christian Friedrich Schumacher in 1827.[1] The genus contains only one species, viz. Benzonia corymbosa, which is endemic to Guinea in West Africa.[2]
