Benjamin Allen (MP)
Benjamin Allen (c. 1742 – October 1791) was an English politician.
Benjamin Allen was the son of John Allen, M.D., of Bridgwater. He attended school in Bridgwater before being admitted, age 19, to Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge in 1751. Allen was returned Member of Parliament for Bridgwater in 1768, 1774 and 1780, though this return was amended in 1781 by substituting another name.[1]
