Ben Unwin portrayed the character Jesse McGregor on the Australian television drama Home and Away from 1996 to 2005.^[1] He commenced his acting career at the age of 12, working consistently in film and television while completing his school education. After receiving his Higher School Certificate Ben had the role of bad boy Jesse written for him after auditioning for another role on Home and Away.

Ben was nominated for a British TV Award and a TV Week Logie Award for his role on Home and Away.

Following his stint on the show Ben embarked on a career change and obtained a Bachelor of Laws and is currently undertaking a Masters in Law. He was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and now works as a solicitor in Sydney.
