Belmont Lake is a lake in geographic Belmont Township[3] in the municipality of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen, Peterborough County in Central Ontario, Canada.[1] It is in the Great Lakes Basin, lies on the Crowe River, and is the location of the mouth of the North River.

The primary inflows are the Crowe River at the north and the North River at the west. The primary outflow is the Crowe River, which leaves the lake at the northeast over a weir with sluice gates.

There are several named islands, the largest of which is Big Island in the centre of the lake. The communities of Ashby Mill and Rockdale are located on the south shore and at the Crowe River outflow respectively.
