Belforte del Chienti is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Macerata in the Italian region Marche, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) south of Ancona and about 50 kilometres (31 mi) southeast of Macerata. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,660 and an area of 15.9 square kilometres (6.1 sq mi).[1]
