Beggarwood is a housing estate of Basingstoke, in the English county of Hampshire. The estate is located approximately 2.5 miles (4.0 km) south-west of Basingstoke town centre. It was built almost completely in one phase between 2001 and 2009. There is a shop, a nursery, http://www.kiddicaru.com/nurseries_basingstoke.htm, a pharmacy, a dentist and a doctors' surgery, http://www.beggarwoodsurgery.co.uk/ on Broadmere Road.
Beggarwood Park

Basingstoke Golf Club
Basingstoke Golf Club lies to the north west of the Beggarwood Estate. The club was established in 1907 in the grounds of Kempshott House. Kempshott House was demolished in the 1960s, Kempshott Estate.

Beggarwood suffers from some of the worst connectivity in and around the basingstoke area.
Broadband speeds of an estimated 0.3-1.2 Mbps. No fiber connectivity exists.
Mobile Signal is poor to non-existent when indoors and Edge/GPRS when outdoors. (Depending on the area of beggarwood)
