About

Beauties of South Sudan (BOSS) is a beauty pageant founded by the first ever Miss World Africa title holder from South Sudan and South Sudan Ambassador for Culture, Miss Atong Demach. It is organized by Demach Productions, Ltd. (DEMACH), of which Miss Atong Demach serves as CEO. The purpose is to promote the culture of South Sudan at international pageants, promote environmental advocacy and empower young South Sudanese girls to achieve their dreams.

Demach organizes beauties of South Sudan pageants, recruits, trains and sends one girl every year to represent South Sudan at Miss International, Miss Earth and Miss Grand International. The first edition of BOSS was held in the capital Juba on 30 June 2013, where a large number of South Sudanese women, government officials and international beauty pageant winners, including Miss Earth Indonesia, Miss Earth and former Miss Philippines Earth attended and witnessed the crowning of the first BOSS winners.

Beauties of South Sudan Miss Earth

The Beauties of South Sudan winner would automatically represent her country at the Miss Earth pageant. As of 2013 Beauties of South Sudan had become the official national franchise for Miss Earth pageant in South Sudan. However, in 2015, the franchise was lost from Beauties of South Sudan for failing to send a representative in 2014. The Miss Earth franchise has been turned over to Miss South Sudan.
