The uninhabited Bear Islands are located in James Bay, southeast of the Belcher Islands. They are part of the Qikiqtaaluk Region, in the Canadian territory of Nunavut.[1] They are made up of the North Bear Island and South Bay Island. Nearby is Sunday Island.
