Bazzano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bologna in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 20 kilometres (12 mi) west of Bologna. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,386 and an area of 14.0 square kilometres (5.4 sq mi).[1]
Bazzano borders the following municipalities: Castelfranco Emilia, Crespellano, Monteveglio, San Cesario sul Panaro, Savignano sul Panaro.
