Basiloterus husseini was a late Eocene primitive whale. As with all other members of Basilosauridae, it was a hypercarnivorous predator.
Fossil finds
Basiloterus husseini is the closest known relative of Basilosaurus, but was not as large or elongated. B. husseini is found in late Eocene strata of Pakistan.
