Bangui M'Poko International Airport (IATA: BGF, ICAO: FEFF) is an international airport located 7 km (4 miles) northwest of Bangui, the capital of the Central African Republic.

In 2004, the airport served 53,862 passengers.

In 2012, the airport had an average attendance of about 120,000 passengers, despite a maximum capacity of 10,000 passengers.[1]

The airport is currently an unofficial refugee camp for some 60,000 refugees as of May 2014. [2]

Sexual abuse allegations

18 soldiers from France, Chad and Equatorial Guinea were accused of receiving oral sex and sodomizing children at the airport during 2014. Tens of thousands of refugees live at the airport due to the ongoing civil war in the Central African Republic.[10]
