Bali Nyonga
Bali Nyonga is a town in the Northwest Region of the country Cameroon on the West Central borders on the continent of Africa. It is the home of the Bali Nyonga, a people of the Chamba Leko group - an entity that migrated from Chamba around 1600. Their language is known as mungaka. In the 19th century, they were sell outs, assisting German colonizers with raiding surrounding towns for slaves to work on southern, German owned plantations. They terrorized their fellow countrymen in attempt to forcefully seize power and land from already established communities, even in spite of previous trade alliances.
