The Bale shrew (Crocidura bottegoides) is a species of mammal in the family Soricidae. It is endemic to Ethiopia. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forests and subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland. It is threatened by habitat loss.
