Bakhyt Turlykhanuly Sultanov (Kazakh: Сұлтанов Бақыт Тұрлыханұлы) is the Minister of Economic Affairs and Budget Planning in the Government of Kazakhstan.[1]
He was born in 1971 and graduated from the Kazakh National Technical University, State Academy of Management with majors in engineering and economics. After graduation he worked in the Ministry of Finance where he progressed from senior economist to being director of the department.
he was appointed Vice-Minister of Economic Affairs and Budget Planning, Chaired Statistics Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan and served as Vice-minister of Finance. During 2007-2010, he was the Minister of Economic Affairs and Budget Planning. In January 2012, he was appointed Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
