Bailando por un Sueñois is a popular Argentine TV series where celebrities dance with their non-celebrity “dreamer” (man or woman) who must be an amateur dancer. The amateur is accompanied by the celebrity as they perform dance dance routines.
After poor ratings, Markíza changed Bailando to Let's Dance for the next season. Winners of Bailando then became part of the first international competition for Bailando por un Sueño: Primer Campeonato Internacional de Baile. However, as Viktória Ráková was unable to represent Solvakia at the time due to work conflicts, runner-up team Patrik Švajda with his partner Mária Lörinčíková represented Slovakia and finished in 4th place.
