2013 Baghdad Cup
Not to be confused with Baghdad Championship.
The Baghdad Cup was an Iraqi football cup contested by two clubs in June 2013. The clubs were Al Shorta and Al Zawraa; both clubs are from Baghdad. The two rivals played each other at Al Shaab Stadium and Al Shorta won 1-0 through Hussein Karim's goal.[1][2] The IFA are considering making the tournament an annual event as part of the Festival of Brotherhood, Love and Peace which is held to try to promote peace in Iraq. The tournament is also commonly referred to as the Brotherhood, Love and Peace Cup.
