BBC South Asia (also referred to as BBC News South Asia or BBC World News South Asia) is an English-language South Asian based television news channel, featuring South Asian news and aimed at viewers in Bangladesh, Bhutan, India,Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.[1][2][3]
Operations
A division of the BBC, its competitor is CNN International South Asia and some other English-based national and international news channels.
The channel's timings are in Dhaka for Bangladeshi viewers, Islamabad for Pakistani viewers and New Delhi for Indian viewers.
BBC South Asia stations are in the capital of some South Asian cities.
It also broadcasts some popular programs from the London-based BBC.
