BBC Radio Shetland is an opt-out service of BBC Radio Scotland, covering the Shetland Islands, Scotland. The station's studio is located in Pitt Lane, Lerwick.

Programming

Radio Shetland has two programme slots, broadcast on BBC Radio Scotland's Shetland frequency (92.7 MHz). It is also possible to listen via the Soundcloud page.[1]

A daily magazine programme, Good Evening Shetland, is broadcast from 17.30 to 18.00 each weekday evening and features news and current affairs, weather, fishing reports, public debate and more. A weekly dedications programme - Give Us A Tune - is broadcast on Friday evenings from 18.00 to 19.00. The winter schedule additionally offers varied programming from 18.10 to 19.00 on Mondays to Thursdays.

Keep up to date with Shetland news, the daily What's On Diary, and the whereabouts of the local library vans. The station's winter programme schedule contains shows on nature, food, football, film, health and politics, as well as various music programmes and a quiz.
