The fiery-tailed awlbill (Avocettula recurvirostris) is a species of hummingbird in the Trochilidae family. It is monotypic for its genus.
It is found in Brazil, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, and Venezuela.
Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
